A recent showing of Udyakantha Warnasooriya's new film “Aasai Mang Piyabanna” at Arena Cinema, Katugastota attracted several members of the cast including the popular young stars Pooja Umashankar and Roshan Ranawana who play the main roles in the film. Governor of the Central Province Tikiri Kobbakaduwa was the chief guest. Mayor L B Aluvihare, Indian Assistant High Commissioner James Edwin and CPC Industries Ministry Secretary Shiranee Weerakoon and several other dignitaries were also present. The film show attracted a large number of well wishers and film enthusiasts. The Women's Chamber of Small Industries and Commerce Central Province will use the proceedings of the show to assist small-scale enterprises started by women who need assistance.
