Kandyans Enjoy Indian Night at Suisse

It was like being in India at the Indian Night at Suisse Hotel recently. The décor, food and the music blended well to create an authentic Indian atmosphere.

The delicious Indian cusine was prepared by a team of expert Suisse chefs, Anton Dissanayeka, Nimal Ekanayaka, K Sarevenan, and S. Ramenathan.

There was a display of beautiful sarees by Palayakats and exclusive Indian jewelry by Kandy Fancy Palace.

A bevy of lovely girls performed Bharatha Natayam in rhythm with tasteful oriental music to make all the guests relax.

The chief guest for the event was the Deputy High Commissioner of India Mr. Rajan Pillai. Mr. and Mrs. Pillai and other guests were welcomed in typical Indian salutation by the staff of the Suisse Hotel led by Manager Mr. Gamini Sananayaka and the Food and Beverages Manager Mr. Gerrard Perera.
